The Opera

La Tosca gets its namesake after the famous opera by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini. It premiered at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome on January 14, 1900 and includes some of Puccini’s best-known lyrical arias and has inspired memorable performances from many of opera’s leading tenors such as Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Enrico Caruso.

The Restaurant

In 2010 veteran restaurateur Russ Gazzano and wife Giovanna brought their 45 plus years of experience and passion for food to open La Tosca Ristorante and Pizzeria in Villa Park. From our villa-like exterior, to our welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere, La Tosca features muted amber-toned walls, beautiful artwork depicting its namesake and a bar crafted of granite, cherry and mahogany. Our two private Cantinas (booths), are intimate, cozy and always in high demand.
